Job summary

Energy Transfer Partners, L.P. is seeking a Finance Intern for a 12-week paid internship in Midland, TX. You will collaborate with financial analysts and field coordinators and participate in ongoing projects in the operating division.

You must be enrolled in Finance, Economics, or Business with an expected graduation date in Fall 2027 or Spring 2028. Relocation or living stipends are not provided.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in college majoring in Finance, Economics, or Business.
• Preferably junior status as of Fall 2027.
• General requirements include self-motivated individuals, involvement in activities outside college studies.
• Strong computer and advanced Excel skills preferred.
• Must possess a strong willingness to learn.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to adapt to rapidly changing priorities and responsibilities.
• Organize, perform and prioritize various functions in a fast paced environment.
• Must be a team player, able to work with a diverse workforce and with various levels.

Energy Transfer is a master limited partnership that owns and operates one of the largest and most diversified portfolios of energy assets in the United States. In total, the Company owns and operates approximately 120,000 miles of natural gas, crude oil, refined products, and natural gas liquids pipelines, terminals, and acquisition and marketing assets which are used to facilitate the purchase and sale of crude oil, natural gas, natural gas liquids, and refined products.

Summary:

Our operating division is seeking a dynamic, personable, and professional Finance Intern who will work with our financial analysts and field coordinators in the Midland, TX office.

This is a twelve (12) week paid internship program beginning May 2027. You must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program with an expected graduation date in Fall 2027 or Spring 2028.

(This opportunity doesn’t include relocation or living stipend)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Intern will participate in ongoing projects within the operating division, including:

• Variance Analysis for O&M and Maintenance Capital
• Invoice Coding and Contract / Rate Sheet Comparison
