Job summary

Great West Casualty Company in South Sioux City, NE invites an Accounting Intern to gain hands-on experience supporting daily accounting operations and financial reporting. You will work with accounts payable/receivable, assist with month-end close, and contribute to budgeting and financial analysis projects.

Eligible students are pursuing a Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance, with junior/senior standing and a GPA around 3.0.

Qualifications

• Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Junior or Senior standing preferred.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other Office apps.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities
