Job summary

The State Group is offering a paid Project Manager internship on site in Kokomo, Indiana, for the summer of 2027. This program emphasizes structured, meaningful work, mentorship, and opportunities for professional growth with potential for full-time employment after graduation.

Interns will collaborate across the organization, gain insight into operations, and work on a capstone project addressing a real business challenge, culminating in a presentation to company leaders in Kokomo.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a college diploma or university degree in construction management or electrical engineering
• Completion of at least one year of post secondary education
• A strong desire to learn contribute and grow in a professional environment
• Excellent communication collaboration and organizational skills
• The ability to follow direction manage priorities and take initiative
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen

Responsibilities

• Collaborate across the organization while gaining insight into how our business operates
• Assist with research analysis planning documentation reporting and other responsibilities related to your area of study
• Attend team meetings and contribute ideas updates and solutions
• Build practical skills through hands on experience mentorship and professional development
• Network with other interns and participate in a collaborative Capstone Project
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned
