Job summary

DRB Homes in Maryland invites students to join our internship program designed to connect academic preparation with company projects. Interns gain insight by performing assigned tasks and collaborating with management to meet division goals.

The program allows rotation through divisions, development of major tasks or research, and engagement with customers or clients. Interns contribute ideas to improve service and internal processes while learning our systems.

Responsibilities

• Understands the overall concept of the company, including the brand, customer, product goals, and all other aspects of service.
• May be focused in one department or may rotate through our divisions of responsibility and provides ideas to grow and improve the business.
• Accepts designated, business-focus projects to research, propose ideas and solutions, and present final project during the internship.
• Engages with customers or clients and provides department services, research and/or sales.
• Provide suggestions to management for improving customer service and internal processes.
• May learns and become proficient on internal systems.
• Assists in creating performance reports, office tasking, evaluating documents and performing additional tasks assigned by manager.

The goal is to assist students to develop and carry out their major tasking or research projects. Our program is designed to serve both intern and Company to gain insight through the process. Management team evaluates the overall intern experience in meeting division/company goals and evaluates any future enhancements to the program as required.
