ADVANCED NETWORK MANAGEMENT INC is seeking a Consulting Engineer Intern in Albuquerque to support client IT environments. You will troubleshoot solutions, document environments, and collaborate across ANM’s engineering groups and vendors to resolve incidents.

The role emphasizes communication, learning, and delivering high-quality client service in a fast-paced setting. Travel is occasionally required; open until filled.

Qualifications

• Preferred: CCNA or MCSA or related certifications/experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional and empathetic first-contact responses to clients.
• Serve as a technical resource for assigned issues and coordinate with ANM teams.
• Work with Management and Account Managers to ensure high-quality client support.
• Communicate status and progress to client IT departments and ANM teams.
• Document client environments clearly and consistently.
• Analyze and diagnose system problems and provide tier-1/2 support.
• Interact with clients via phone and ticketing systems.
• Apply knowledge to troubleshoot a wide range of IT solutions.
• Collaborate with engineering groups and vendors to drive issue resolution.
• Participate in on-call rotation and ongoing education.

The Role

The Consulting Engineer Intern is responsible for working with ANM clients in support and troubleshooting of information technology solutions. This position requires a blend of technical competence, client service skills, and team collaboration to successfully support all aspects of the client’s technology systems.

What You Will Do

• Provide professional and empathetic first-contact responses to clients.
• Acts as a technical resource for assigned issues and works closely with the ANM technical teams to resolve problems.
• Works closely with the Management, Account Managers, and Client Service Managers to ensure ANM is delivering world-class support to our clients.
• Clearly and consistently communicates with client IT departments and ANM technical teams about the status and progress on issues.
• Generates & implements clear and consistent documentation of client environments.
• Performs analysis and diagnosis of system problems.
• Provides first and second-level technical support for numerous technologies to ANM clients.
• Interacts directly with clients via phone and ticketing systems.
• Applies analytical skills and technical knowledge to solve technical problems of medium to high complexity.
• Uses knowledge of technology, products, and services to troubleshoot and maintain a wide variety of IT solutions of all sizes.
• Interacts and works directly with multiple advanced engineering groups and vendors to elevate technical issues and drive incidents to resolution, often collaborating between more than one group at a time.
• Interacts with telecommunication, hardware, and software vendors and operates on the customers’ behalf to drive the resolution of issues while providing regular progress updates to any incident stakeholders.
• Participates in special projects as assigned.
• Participates in On-call rotation and M.A.C.D.
• Invests time in continued education to learn new technologies.

Travel

Travel is occasionally required for this position. Must have a valid driver’s license and motor vehicle insurance.
