Job summary

ConGlobal is seeking a Terminal Operator in St. Louis, MO to load, unload, and reposition intermodal containers using top-lift or side-loader. This full-time role requires a valid driver’s license and open availability across all shifts.

A pre-employment background check and drug screen are required, along with paid training and competitive benefits. The position focuses on safe yard operations, efficient container placement, and coordination with gate and maintenance teams to minimize driver

Qualifications

Experience operating top-lift or side-loader or similar heavy equipment.
Strong attention to safety and situational awareness.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Good communication skills and a teamwork-oriented attitude.
Ability to pass a pre-employment background verification and drug screening.
Valid driver’s license is required.
Open availability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Operate top-lift and/or side-loader to move containers within the yard.
Load and unload intermodal containers from/to chassis.
Stack and unstack containers and chassis according to the yard plan.
Coordinate with gate personnel to assist drivers dropping off or picking up equipment.
Support the maintenance team by moving equipment for repairs or inspections.
Perform routine safety checks and report any equipment issues or safety concerns.
Follow all site safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized yard.
