Job summary

ConGlobal ITS - St. Paul in Minnesota is recruiting an Intermodal Equipment Operator apprentice to support intermodal yard operations. You will operate hostlers, cranes, top loaders and other equipment to move containers accurately and safely.

Starting pay is $25.66/hour with a $1.50 night shift differential for overnight work; the role offers day and night shifts, weekends, and holidays. Benefits include paid training and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate heavy equipment in a logistics/industrial setting.
• Strong safety mindset and attention to detail.
• Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders/stairs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment to load/unload containers from railcars and trucks.
• Drive hostlers to position containers and chassis within the yard.
• Use top loaders, side loaders, and cranes to stack/move containers.
• Perform equipment inspections before and after use for safety.
• Communicate with yard personnel and supervisors to coordinate moves.
• Maintain a safe work environment following established protocols.
