Job summary

Schneider National is hiring for intermodal drivers in the Kansas City area. Drive 200 miles within KS, haul containers on company-owned chassis with 90% drop-and-hook, 100% no-touch freight.

Get mileage pay and load pay plus hourly on duty, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus paid over 12 months. Paid orientation, PTO after 6 months, 6 holiday days, and full benefits including health, 401(k), and military benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Tanker endorsement and HazMat endorsement are strongly preferred.
• Live within 40 miles of Kansas City, KS.
• Minimum 3 months of Class A driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Haul freight containers secured to company-owned chassis.
• Operate 100% no-touch freight that is 90% drop-and-hook.
• Drive in and out of railyards within 200 miles of Kansas City, KS.
