Job summary

J.B. Hunt Transport is seeking an Intermodal Internship student for January 2027 in Lithia Springs, GA.

This part-time role supports the Supply Chain team and exposes interns to transportation/logistics services under close supervision. Responsibilities include learning transportation management principles, assisting with daily operations, and gaining exposure to industry trends, DOT compliance, and driver-related tasks.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program OR graduate degree program in good standing at an accredited community college, college or university.
• Must be able to work 20-25 hours a week during the school semester.
• Preferred: ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment and shifting priorities and directives
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
• Willingness to work flexible hours
• Junior or Senior level preferred

Compensation:

Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include skills, education, experience, geography, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position may be eligible for annual bonus and incentives based on profitability or volumes in accordance with the terms of the Company's bonus and incentive plans, as applicable and in effect from time to time.
