Responsibilities

• Administer the assignment of rail container plans to 3rd party and Werner asset carriers.
• Prioritize equipment plans based on utilization, dwell time, cost and capacity.
• Coordinate with carriers to ensure plans are executed and communicate impacts of failed performance.
• Advise Operations Supervisor of issues or needs and perform other duties as assigned.
• Collaborate with railroad contacts on equipment issues and escalate EQ issues as needed to meet customer expectations.
• Aim to improve street turn utilization, dwell time and overall cost.
