Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience mixing alcoholic beverages for retail sale; bartender training may substitute for experience.
• Experience recognizing intoxicated or unruly patrons and resolving the problem or seeking assistance.
• Experience following proper cash handling procedures.
• Must be able to stoop, stand, and walk for long periods; capable of lifting up to 40 pounds.
• Must meet the minimum age requirement for serving alcohol.

Responsibilities

• Mix and serve a variety of alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages.
• Set up bar, maintain stock levels, and keep area clean and sanitary.
• Operate cash register, take payments, and provide receipts; assist wait staff as needed.
• Complete required training in alcohol service and adhere to safety regulations.
