Job summary

PPG is seeking a Quality Engineer to lead continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment near Arkansas. You will drive root cause investigations, implement preventative measures, and support batch investigations while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include leading the Intermediate Bad Actors program, scrutinizing testing adequacy for new intermediate codes, applying SPC to monitor property drift, and guiding in-process batch adjustments.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering/science field required.
  • 3–5 years of quality engineering experience in manufacturing preferred.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or training preferred.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.

This role has a salary range $75,000 to $80,000 depending on experience.
