We are seeking a passionate, detail-oriented, and creative Intermediate to Senior Interior Designer with a minimum of 3 years of experience in high-end residential projects.

Must be highly proficient in AutoCAD, including all aspects of construction sets, millwork design, kitchen and bath layouts, as well as basic furniture plans, elevations, and section drawings.

The candidate will be involved in all phases of high-end ground-up and full renovation residential projects. Organization skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with the principal on the creative design and execution of high-end residential projects.
  2. Demonstrate high proficiency in AutoCAD and technical design aspects (custom millwork, construction sets, etc.).
  3. Manage large-scale projects from schematic design through final installation.
  4. Design, source, and present all interior FF&E, including finishes, fixtures, fabrics, furniture, hardware, lighting, rugs, accessories, and art, in collaboration with the Principal.
  5. Manage client and vendor communications professionally and articulately.
  6. Coordinate with contractors, architects, vendors, fabricators, and clients throughout multi-year projects.
  7. Assist with client proposals and vendor paperwork to complete and track decorative purchases, in collaboration with Jr. Designer and Project Manager.
  8. Manage FF&E sourcing and detailed schedules alongside the Project Manager.
  9. Define and resolve complex problems, ensuring tasks are completed accurately with attention to detail.
  10. Manage internal and external deadlines through effective time management.
  11. Organize and coordinate all aspects of site installations with the Principal and JPD team.

Employment Type: In-person, open to part-time (4 days a week)

Salary is commensurate with experience.
