Base pay range

$23.95/hr - $23.95/hr

We are seeking an individual passionate about joining a team in manufacturing high-quality laminates and films used in applications such as cabinetry, countertops, paneling, recreational vehicles, and retail space enhancements.

Job Summary

The Intermediate Plant Utility Operator will be trained on multiple jobs within the facility to support vacations, vacancies, and absenteeism. The Utility Operator may fill in on the production floor as needed, based on the Shift Coordinator’s assessment. Tasks include but are not limited to: mixing, winding, milling, and plant utility work, ensuring 100% quality for the customer.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform and document forklift and crane inspections
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Stay current on job skills through ongoing training
• Fill in for various jobs as needed, such as cleaning, housekeeping, painting, mixing, winding, milling, finishing, relief, edge banding, and color room operations

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Complete orientation, safety training, and skill verification
• Properly fitted Personal Protection Equipment (PPE)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Work Environment and Conditions

• Frequent use of personal protective equipment
• Comfortable working alongside machinery and equipment in a manufacturing environment
• Ability to detect and identify smells
• Exposure to chemicals, unregulated temperatures, and dusty conditions
• No travel required
