Job summary

SAA interiors + architecture is seeking an Intermediate Designer in Irvine, CA to work with the project team on design and documentation of interior design projects. The role includes designing, directing, and coordinating corporate office projects with guidance and oversight.

The position involves collaboration with consultants and internal teams, ensuring code compliance, and contributing to space planning and finish selections.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree in interior design or related field
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in interior design and documentation
• Proficient in Autocad, Revit, Photoshop, SketchUp and Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

• Perform interior design assignments under the direction of a Job Captain or Project Manager, including programming, space planning, pricing plans, design development, finish selection, consultant coordination, construction documentation and administration
• Provide project team coordination for finish plans, specifications and material selections
• Assist with code and city requirements for projects and coordinate with PM to implement/meet requirements
• Assist in developing space plans and pricing plans
• Collaborate with consultants, brokers, property managers, construction managers, contractors, furniture dealers and product reps to meet project objectives
• Manage client expectations and maintain client relationships through delivery of exceptional service
• Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams and participate in office activities and learning programs
