Job summary

AIGA in Midtown Manhattan is seeking a Junior to Intermediate Interior Designer with 3–7 years of corporate office interior experience to join its growing team. This full-time position involves supporting all phases of design from programming and space planning through construction documentation on multiple workplace projects.

The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, with strong skills in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and the Adobe

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of corporate office interior design experience.
• Strong space planning and test-fit experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2018 or newer).
• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and InDesign).
• Experience with SketchUp.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word).
• Ability to prepare presentations and design packages.
• Experience assisting with furniture, finish, and material selections.
• Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
