Summary:

This role is ideal for an ambitious individual with some experience in pipeline geoscience and onshore surveying, eager to develop technical and project skills within a growing engineering company.

Purpose:

To perform responsible and varied assignments as a fully qualified engineer/technologist/scientist, utilizing broad knowledge in engineering, design, or science. Tasks involve standard procedures, modifications, or previously developed methods. Participates in project planning and execution phases.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical and engineering support to multidisciplinary teams.
  • Contribute significantly to pipeline infrastructure development.
  • Support project fieldwork, including acting as the client representative during surveys.
  • Check discipline compliance for pipeline design in Civil 3D.
  • Maintain attention to detail.
  • Engage with clients regarding project and technical requirements, progress, and outputs.
  • Conduct technical meetings and reviews with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Perform analysis, calculations, and interpretation using various tools and software such as spreadsheets, TerraModel, AutoCAD, ESRI GIS.
  • Process different data types, including survey, LIDAR, drone data, for team use.
  • Create WebMap tools to support project needs.
  • Prepare reports, briefing notes, and maintain project documentation.
  • Perform other tasks as directed by the line manager.

What you will bring

Technical/Industry Experience and Qualifications:

  • 3 to 5 years of pipeline geoscience experience.
  • Experience with pipelines, powerlines, or fiber lines.
  • Ability to support technical surveys for multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong analytical and research skills.
  • Experience with GIS systems.

Education – Qualifications, Accreditation, Training:

Preferred:

  • Degree in geoscience, geotechnical, civil, or survey engineering.

Additional Information:

  • Location: Englewood/Denver, CO area.
  • Salary: $77,547 - $114,040, commensurate with experience.
