Job summary

Jobgether is seeking a skilled frontend engineer to build and enhance features using Angular and TypeScript. Translate designs into production-ready, responsive interfaces with RxJS, while maintaining code quality through tests, CI, and reviews.

You will collaborate in a remote-first, international team, participate in code reviews, and contribute to an internal design system, all while delivering robust frontend solutions in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Frontend development: 5+ years with HTML, CSS, Angular, TypeScript; React possible.
• Responsive web development for desktop and mobile.
• Angular and reactive programming (RxJS) experience valued.
• Tools: Linux, Git, Jenkins.
• Software engineering practices: code reviews, CI, unit testing, mocks.
• Analytical/problem solving; strong attention to detail.
• Teamwork/communication; cross-functional collaboration.
• Nice to have: Java and NestJS knowledge; learning mindset.

Accountabilities

• Develop new features and applications: Build and enhance frontend features for existing products and new initiatives using Angular, TypeScript, and modern web development practices.
• Translate designs into production-ready interfaces: Implement prototypes and design specifications while ensuring responsive, accessible, and consistent user experiences.
• Maintain code quality: Apply software engineering best practices, including unit testing, source control, static code analysis, and continuous integration.
• Contribute to code reviews: Review code, provide constructive feedback, and promote maintainable, reliable, and well-structured frontend solutions.
• Maintain and improve production applications: Deliver bug fixes, upgrades, and ongoing improvements to ensure application stability and long-term performance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders: Work with product and project stakeholders to understand user needs, investigate problems, and validate proposed solutions.
• Work within an Agile team: Participate in team development workflows, coordinate with colleagues, and support the delivery of software through iterative development.
• Document progress and solutions: Maintain appropriate technical documentation and communicate project updates, progress, and potential challenges to the Project Manager or Scrum Master.
• Support shared UI development: Use and contribute to an internal design system and reusable component library to improve consistency across applications.

Requirements:

• Education: Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• Frontend development experience: At least five years of relevant professional experience with HTML, CSS, Angular, and TypeScript. Experience with React or similar frontend frameworks may also be considered.
• Responsive web development: Hands-on experience building applications for different platforms, including desktop browsers, smartphones, and tablets.
• Angular and reactive programming: Familiarity with modern Angular development and reactive patterns, particularly RxJS, is valuable for working with complex, data-rich interfaces.
• Development tools and environments: Practical experience with Linux, Git, and Jenkins.
• Software engineering practices: Experience with code reviews, continuous integration, unit testing, and mocking techniques.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills: Strong attention to detail and the ability to investigate complex technical issues and deliver effective solutions.
• Teamwork and communication: Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, share technical knowledge, respond constructively to feedback, and communicate progress clearly.
• Additional technical experience: Familiarity with Java and NestJS is an asset but is not required.
• Learning mindset: Willingness to develop new skills, adapt to evolving technologies, and contribute to continuous improvements in software quality.
