Job summary

Aadmi is seeking a Front-End Developer for its fully remote product development team. You will build responsive web apps using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks, integrate with backend APIs, and collaborate with UX/UI designers to deliver engaging web experiences.

Candidates should have 3–5 years of experience, proficiency with React or similar, TypeScript, and testing, with a strong eye for accessibility and performance.

Qualifications

Accountability Summary

The Front-End Developer is a motivated, skilled engineer with 3-5 years of professional experience. They will be responsible for building user-centric, performant, and maintainable interfaces for our web-based and mobile-friendly platform. Applicants should be highly analytical, organized, detail-oriented, self-managed, a team player with a knack for visual design and utility, and able to deliver a quality product in accordance with established requirements and deadlines.

Duties and Responsibilities

The Front-End Developer will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Develop responsive web applications using React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS that work seamlessly across all browsers and devices.
• Implement UI designs from mockups and wireframes with meticulous attention to detail and user experience.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs and services built with PHP and Node.js.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility across Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge, and mobile browsers on major operating systems.
• Optimize application performance through code splitting, lazy loading, caching, and efficient state management.
• Write clean, maintainable code following industry best practices with proper testing and debugging.
• Develop reusable UI components and maintain component libraries for consistent user interfaces.
• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate design concepts into functional, interactive web experiences.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback while mentoring junior developers.
• Participate in agile development processes including sprint planning, daily standups, and technical architecture discussions.
• Stay current with the latest front-end technologies and best practices.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in front-end development.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Experience with TypeScript.
• Solid experience with at least one modern JavaScript framework such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and integration with backend services.
• Experience with responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
• Familiarity with build tools and package managers such as NPM or Yarn.
• Experience with version control and collaborative workflows (e.g. Git, Bitbucket, etc.).
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Experience writing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Some experience working with Figma or similar design tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with testing libraries like Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.
• Basic understanding of accessibility (WCAG), and performance optimization.
• Exposure to UI frameworks like Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap.
• Knowledge of mobile-first design principles.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure.
• Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
