Job summary

PSG GROUP LLC is seeking a mid-level Electrician to support data-center installations in Lordstown, Ohio. This role focuses on installing, maintaining, testing, and troubleshooting power systems while mentoring junior staff and upholding safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 3–6 years of electrical experience, a Journeyman license, and strong knowledge of NEC/NFPA 70E. Travel to future nationwide projects may be required as the project evolves.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus completed electrical apprenticeship or vocational training.
• 3–6 years of relevant electrical experience.
• Valid Journeyman Electrician license (or state equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, and data-center power concepts.
• Ability to read electrical drawings, schematics, and one-line diagrams.
• Good communication skills and basic leadership ability.
• Physical fitness, reliable transportation to the site, and a valid driver’s license.

• Diagnose and repair electrical faults, support commissioning, integrated systems testing, and performance verification.

Overview

PSG is a construction and infrastructure firm building mission‑critical data centers. This mid‑level Electrician works on a 6‑month construction project and, upon completion, will transfer to nationwide projects. The role focuses on installation, maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting of power systems in data‑center environments while ensuring safety, quality, and mentorship of junior staff.

Licensing / Certification

• Required: Valid Journeyman Electrician license.
• Preferred: Data‑center or critical‑facility training certificates, manufacturer‑specific certifications (UPS, generators, switchgear).
• Safety certifications: OSHA 10/30, NFPA 70E, CPR/First Aid; must be obtained within 60 days if not already held.

Availability & Relocation

The position is full‑time, on‑site at Lordstown for the initial 6‑month assignment. Long‑term career growth depends on willingness to relocate or travel to future project sites nationwide.
