Job summary

NBBJ Seattle is seeking an Intermediate Designer to work on projects ranging from small TI work to full corporate campuses, with client contact and leadership responsibilities.

The role emphasizes interiors and architectural design, collaboration with project teams, and growth within a creative, award-winning firm. In-office Monday–Thursday with Friday hybrid; base pay range $80,000–$95,000; candidate must be based in the United States.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of professional experience in interiors and/or the architectural field.
• LEED Accreditation or within 18 months of hire.
• Proficiency in Revit with 3D modeling skills; Rhino familiarity; re-integration into Revit is a plus.
• Adobe Suite and Microsoft Office proficiency; rendering knowledge (Enscape).

Responsibilities

• Execute corporate/commercial projects from design through construction administration.
• Lead client meetings to identify objectives and options.
• Collaborate with project team to develop design, documentation, scheduling, and budgeting.
• Prepare contract and permitting documents with quality and code compliance.
• Mentor and lead other team members; coordinate with engineers and disciplines.
• Contribute to marketing efforts and client presentations.
