Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and responsible RN to manage care for patients with severe, but usually non-life-threatening issues. Responsibilities include assessment, therapies, interventions, and monitoring patients requiring cardiac telemetry. The unit handles various cardiac, neurological, and medical diagnoses such as chest pain, coronary artery disease, arrhythmias, heart failure, overdose, seizures, and sepsis.

As an IMCU nurse, you will work with a team to ensure high-quality, compassionate care, fostering open communication and a healing environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care following policies and care plans.
• Monitor and communicate patient conditions.
• Update and revise care plans as needed.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care.
• Administer medications and treatments per protocols.
• Follow physician and nursing orders.
• Assist with discharge planning.
• Educate patients and families, ensuring understanding.
• Maintain professional development.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
