Position: Intermediate AWS Cloud Systems Operations Administrator
Type: Full Time
Location: San Antonio, TX
Clearance: TS/SCI Clearance

This position is contingent upon contract award.

Job Responsibilities

• Deploy, manage, and operate workloads on AWS, including implementing security controls and ensuring compliance.
• Define requirements, create functional models, and develop architectural processes.
• Optimize system operations using AWS tools like Kubernetes and Docker.
• Ensure compliance with security protocols and standards for cloud services.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in IT systems administration on Microsoft and Linux platforms; a bachelor’s degree is required, master’s may substitute 2 years of experience.
• Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure maintenance, system administration, and support for Amazon EKS.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and RHEL servers, with certification such as CKA preferred.
• Security+ certification (IAT II) required; TS/SCI clearance mandatory.

Candidates should have at least two of the following certifications and one year of applied experience in Container Orchestration or application deployment:

• AWS Cloud Practitioner
• AWS SysOps Administrator
• Operating a Production Kubernetes Cluster
• Kubernetes and Cloud Native Associate (KCNA)
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
• Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)
• RH294: RHEL Linux Automation with Ansible
