Job summary

IA Interior Architects' IA Retail team is seeking an Architectural Designer to produce technical drawings and construction documents for large national retail rollout projects.

Strong Revit skills are required, and travel to sites may be needed for field surveys. The role supports a human-centered design approach across a global studio network.

Qualifications

• Strong detailing and cost estimation familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Assists in overall technical design for projects
• Review of engineering drawings to ensure they comply with design solution
• Works with technical staff to resolve inconsistencies in drawings
• Aid in the creation of floor plans, elevations, architectural and millwork details, and overall design intent sets for the RFP process and distribution to architects.
• Review and redline construction documents, shop drawings, and related submittals
• Produces, reviews and finalizes space plans for projects
• Extensive knowledge of detailing and finalizes details on projects
• Reviews and produces final cost estimates
• Availability to travel to sites to assist with support or for field surveys if needed

The Architectural Designer is responsible for producing technical drawings and construction documents for high-volume retail rollout projects for a large National Brand/Client. Strong Technical skills in Revit are required.
