Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Materials)
  • 5+ years related experience
  • 3+ years stress analysis on interiors or related structures
  • 1+ years Buyer/Supplier furnished equipment experience
  • Experience with manufacturing/production systems

Responsibilities

  • Perform stress analysis on Boeing 787 Interiors products using classical hand analysis, FEA, and/or dynamic simulation tools.
  • Review supplier documents to support supplier technical oversight including drawings, analysis, tests, procedures, and reports.
  • Develop structural requirements to establish interior commodity designs.
  • Coordinate with engineering groups to define loads, interfaces, and environment.
  • Guide product design and verify structural integrity through the lifecycle; develop structural environment and performance.
  • Develop test plans, support test execution, and analyze results to verify systems meet requirements.
