Thomas Young Group is seeking an Interiors Assistant Project Manager in Virginia to oversee RFIs, submittals, schedules, budgets, and change orders for diverse interiors projects. You will interface with clients, architects, and contractors, helping drive profitability and quality across projects from $5M to $300M+.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in commercial interiors (TI, corporate, healthcare, or retail).
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or relevant field experience.
• Proficient in Procore, Bluebeam, CMiC, Excel, and other project management tools.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and driven to deliver quality work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Manage and track RFIs, submittals, schedules, budgets, and change orders.
• Interface with clients, architects, subcontractors, and superintendents.
• Assist in cost tracking, forecasting, and maintaining project profitability.
• Walk job sites regularly to monitor progress and ensure quality control.
• Support in delivering smooth closeouts and satisfied clients.
