Job description

Wolcott Architecture is seeking an interiors architectural Project Manager responsible for managing specific firm projects, including medium-large scale commercial interior architecture and tenant improvements.

This role involves client interaction and experience with project and design presentation.

Wolcott offers a fun, fast-paced, creative work environment in our custom office space in Los Feliz / East Hollywood, Los Angeles. It is a full-time, in-office position with excellent benefits and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications:

• 10-15 years' experience in the commercial interiors/architectural field
• Full responsibility for project operations, with broad knowledge of architectural and interior planning, design, and construction. Capable of preparing schematic layouts, overseeing bid and construction documents, and construction administration. Able to manage project schedules and staffing.
• Detailed knowledge of construction costs and experience with cost comparison spreadsheets
• Proficiency in negotiating and preparing contracts, proposals, work authorizations, and managing consultant contracts and coordination
• Knowledge of relevant codes (IBC, ADA, Title 24), building department practices, and AIA documents
• Knowledge of lighting design practice, capable of preparing schematic lighting layouts and overseeing lighting construction documents
• Ability to foster a positive environment for staff learning and professional growth

Experience Required: 10-15 years in technical and supervisory roles within interiors/architectural fields. Bachelor's degree in architecture or interior design preferred.

Salary Range: Local candidates in Los Angeles only. Onsite position at our Los Angeles office. No remote applicants.
