Job summary

Granger Construction is seeking an Interiors Estimator to develop accurate, competitive interior construction estimates and support preconstruction efforts.

You will review drawings, coordinate with project teams and suppliers, and help pursue new interior opportunities while staying current with market trends.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent industry experience.
• Estimating, project engineering, project management, or related construction experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for interior construction projects.
• Review drawings, specifications, and project documents to identify scope requirements, risks, and opportunities.
• Solicit, evaluate, and level subcontractor and supplier proposals.
• Develop scopes of work and assist in preparing complete bid packages.
• Collaborate with Operations and Project Management teams to ensure seamless project handoffs.
• Participate in value engineering efforts and identify cost-saving opportunities.
