Job summary

HDR in Seattle is seeking a Designer, Interiors to join our team and advance design solutions that enhance community well-being. The Designer will collaborate across disciplines and lead design development from programming through construction documentation.

Ideal candidates hold a relevant degree and professional certification, bring at least 5 years of interior design experience, and demonstrate proficiency in Revit, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture from an accredited school.
• Active Interior Design Certificate or Registered Architect or equivalent in country of residence.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a relevant design firm environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Office programs.
• Skilled in Revit and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Interest in developing skills in team leadership, collaboration, mentoring, and people skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate across disciplines and market sectors to deliver projects.
• Prepare, present and document design concepts to stakeholders.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the interior design process from programming through construction administration.
• Lead by example and promote HDR's collaborative culture.
• Mentor others and be mentored within a team.
• Support design reviews and contribute to project delivery at multiple scales.
