Job summary

HDR, Inc. is seeking an Architect in Seattle, WA to contribute to design and delivery of spaces that enhance community well-being. You will join a team of architects, planners, designers, and technical experts to solve complex design challenges with creativity and collaboration.

You will work across healthcare, education, and data center markets, leveraging strong Revit skills and a commitment to an employee-owned culture. This is a full-time role based in Seattle with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or closely related field (required).
• Minimum of 3 years experience in architecture.
• Registered Architect.
• Proficiency with Autodesk Revit and familiarity with related tools/processes.
• Strong leadership, communication and relationship management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, select and apply standard architectural techniques with judgment for minor adaptations.
• Perform assignments with specific objectives and limited variables.
• Follow instructions on assignment objectives, complex features and possible solutions.
• Perform architectural assignments with direction and limited design responsibility.
• Recommend and select procedures and write reports and specifications.
• Take responsibility for phases of revenue-producing projects as needed.
• Perform other duties as needed.
