Our 2nd shift schedule is Monday-Thursday, 3pm-1am. The shift incentive includes a 10% -15% premium, paid lunch, 3 day weekends, formal airframe training and eligibility to transfer to 1st shift after 3 years.

As an interior upholstery technician you will be responsible for the repair, refurbishment and reinstallation of interior upholstery components on world class business aircraft. Some of the tasks required include general upholstery on aircraft - seats, panels and other interior items. Our upholstery techs are also responsible for removal and installation of seats, disassembly, cleaning, repair and modifications of components as needed. Job duties will vary each day and are designated by the Team Leader in charge of that project.
A High school diploma or equivalent. A valid driver’s license approved for airline travel and/or a valid passport is ideal, but not required.
0-2 years of experience on upholstery in aviation, auto, RV, Marine or related field. These technicians have very limited to no knowledge of the position. This level requires close supervision and constant check ins on work performance.
2-4 years of experience on upholstery in aviation, auto, RV, Marine or related field. Considerable knowledge of the job with a broad understanding of detailed aspects. Will need general supervision and instructions.
4-6 years of experience on upholstery in aviation, auto, RV, Marine or related field. Full knowledge of the job and complete understanding of detailed aspects. Limited supervision is required. No instruction needed and can act as a trainer or mentor to other technicians.
6+ years’ experience in aviation upholstery. Exclusive knowledge in all areas of the job. This technician is a subject matter expert with a wide and comprehensive knowledge of the job.
We’re looking for team players who are self-motivated and able to perform in a fast paced environment where working under specific deadlines and time constraints will be common.
Attend work every day as scheduled to include overtime and weekend assignments.
Notify supervisor in advance of shift starting if unable to work.
Must have reliable transportation to get to work each and every day.
Perform all work in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration guidelines.
Follow all company and safety rules during performance of duties.
Maintain customer oriented work habits.
Assist in major modification work as needed.
Lifts 50 lbs.
Routine walking, bending and squatting or sitting.
Routing or repetitive physical motion with arms and hands with emphasis on grasping, feeling and finger dexterity.
Standing for long periods of time.
Climb ladders and stairs, work in small restricted areas.
Understanding and implementation of regulations and guidelines including but not limited to OSHA, Hazmat, etc.
Work with others in a professional manner.
Read and comprehend various documents.
Plan and organize procedures and operations.
Work under supervision of assigned Team Leader and Interior Management.
May be directed to supervise other technicians in some capacity.
Work with minimal supervision when required.
The majority of work will be performed in a hangar or shop environment.
Work outside on the ramp on occasion.
Varied positions in and around the aircraft.
Personal hand tools supplied by the mechanic.
Electrical power tools such as sewing machines, sanders, saws, etc.
Computer, copy machine etc.
