Job summary

Hoffman Specialty Contracting, Inc. (HSC) seeks an Estimator – Interior Systems to join the estimating team on a Childress, TX project.

You will perform detailed takeoffs and develop self-perform estimates for interior systems, focusing on cleanroom and manufacturing environments. The role requires hands-on experience with OST and Quick Bid, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and at least four years of commercial construction estimating.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s in Structural Eng., Civil Eng., Construction Mgmt., Arch., or equivalent.
• Experience in materials and construction methods.

Responsibilities

• Perform detailed on-screen quantity takeoffs for interior systems.
• Develop complete self-perform estimates in Quick Bid.
• Estimate interior systems for cleanroom/manufacturing facilities.
• Interpret drawings and addenda for rapid bid turnaround.
• Establish labor productivity and phasing for cleanroom work.
• Maintain Quick Bid databases and pricing for repeatable bids.
• Collaborate on bid reviews for scope, pricing, risk, constructability.
• Support preconstruction with constructability/ sequencing input.
• Assist in design phases including budget and VE.
• Source subcontractor pricing and integrate into bids.
