Job summary

Neal Beckstedt Studio in Manhattan is seeking a junior architectural designer to lead renderings for all projects and assist on residential work from start to finish. The role includes spearheading design presentations and creating renderings in SketchUp, 3Dmax, and Photoshop, with opportunities to collaborate with senior designers on project execution and board preparation.

Qualifications

• Past experience in a high-end residential office.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent SketchUp, Vray, 3Dmax, Photoshop, Illustrator, PowerPoint and other graphics program skills.
• Excellent AutoCAD skills.
• Strong hand sketching abilities.
• Great eye for details and color.

Responsibilities

• Creating unique SketchUp & 3Dmax renderings in a stylized manner unique to the office
• Assisting designers and PMs on formatting and preparing boards & presentation

Neal Beckstedt Studio, a boutique architecture and interior design firm located in Manhattan, seeks a skilled junior architectural designer to lead the creation of renderings for all projects. As the studio is small, candidate will also assist on residential projects from start to finish. The role will also include spearheading design presentations including creating renderings in SketchUp, 3Dmax, and photoshop.

The position duties include:

• Creating unique SketchUp & 3Dmax renderings in a stylized manner unique to the office
• Assisting designers and PM’s on formatting and preparing boards & presentation
• Assisting PM’s on project execution

The ideal applicant needs to possess the following skills:

• Past experience in a high-end residential office
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Excellent SketchUp, Vray, 3Dmax, Photoshop, Illustrator, PowerPoint and other graphics program skills
• Excellent autocad skills
• Excellent hand sketching abilities
