Job summary

Rosenbauer America seeks a Line X Technician to apply Line X by basecoat and texture coat, and prepare parts by sanding and priming. You will coordinate with Line X vendors to maintain electrical and mechanical machinery and ensure bedliner and flatblack meet specifications.

The night shift is M-Th 4:30p-2:30a. Qualified candidates typically hold a high school diploma, with 2+ years autobody experience; an associate degree and manufacturing background are preferred.

The Line X Technician will apply bedliner and flatblack to meet specs and uphold customer desires. Also, they will prepare individual parts by sanding and priming.

Night shift would be M-Th 4:30p-2:30a

Essential Functions

• Applies Line X by applying basecoat and texture coat.
• Coordinate with Line X vendors to maintain electrical and mechanical machinery.
• Applies bedliner and flatblack to meet specs and uphold customer desires.
• Prepares individual parts by sanding and priming.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as required by management to meet the needs of the organization and our members.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Education, And/or Experience

• High school diploma/GED.
• Strong mechanical and technical ability required.
• Associate degree in autobody preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in autobody preferred.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Previous experience with Line X preferred.

• Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals.

• Able to perform simple computer tasks to obtain information/changes related to the build process and/or troubleshoot.
