PDS Tech Commercial is seeking an Interior Installation Technician to join a world-class aviation environment in Dallas, TX. You will remove, install, and fabricate interior components such as galleys, closets, lavatories, doors, and bulkheads, following work orders and quality standards.

Responsabilidades

• Safely remove, install, and fabricate aircraft interior components according to work-order instructions.
• Coordinate with supervision and Inspection to ensure compliance with Repair Station procedures and FAA documentation.
• Use the material tracking system to create parts demands and complete required paperwork.
• Safely operate and maintain tools and equipment (hand tools, band saws, shears, sanders, brakes).
• Follow all safety, 5S, housekeeping, and PPE requirements.
• Identify unsafe conditions and address them before they create risk.
• Support aircraft certification and final-phase testing, including flight tests as required.

PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leading aerospace company to find an Interior Installation Technician ready to put their hands-on skills to work in a world-class aviation environment. If you have experience in installation, fabrication, or a related trade and take pride in precision craftsmanship, this is your opportunity to help create aircraft interiors that meet demanding quality and safety standards.

About the Role

As an Interior Installation Technician , you’ll work under close supervision to remove, install, and fabricate aircraft interior components. Your work will directly support the completion and quality of aircraft interiors, ensuring every installation meets work-order requirements, company procedures, and applicable aviation standards.

What You’ll Do

• Safely remove, install, and/or fabricate aircraft interior components, including:

• Galleys

• Closets

• Lavatories

• Side ledges

• Bulkheads

• Doors

• Vanity ledge fill panels

• Complete fit and installation tasks according to work-order instructions, specifications, and quality requirements .

• Coordinate with supervision and Inspection to ensure compliance with Repair Station procedures, FAA documentation requirements, sign-offs, and quality specifications .

• Use the material tracking system to create parts demands, track squawks, and complete required paperwork.

• Safely operate and properly maintain tools and equipment, including:

• Hand tools

• Band saws

• Shears

• Sanders

• Brakes

• Properly care for shop equipment and tools.

• Follow all safety, 5S, housekeeping, and PPE requirements .

• Identify and address unsafe conditions before they create a risk to people or property.

• Support aircraft certification and final-phase testing, which may include flight tests as required.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Bring

Must-Have Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.

• Applicable installation, fabrication, or related experience .

• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English .

• Ability to work any shift .

• Ability to climb ladders and stairs and work in small or restricted areas.

• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds .

• Basic computer literacy.

• Strong commitment to safety, quality, and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Trade school or technical training in installation, fabrication, aviation, manufacturing, or a related field.

• Previous experience working with aircraft interiors or in an aerospace/manufacturing environment.

• Experience using hand tools and fabrication equipment.

• Familiarity with 5S, quality procedures, and regulated work environments.

Pay Details:

$24.50 per hour
