Job summary

Builders FirstSource, America’s largest supplier of building materials, is hiring an entry-level Assembler. The role involves repetitive assembly to mass-produce windows, doors, and related products. No formal education or experience is required, though prior carpentry exposure is helpful.

Overtime may be required depending on production needs. As part of a high-volume manufacturing environment, you will stand for long periods, handle parts, and operate or monitor assembly equipment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations.
• Ability to read a tape measure and measure materials accurately.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Place parts in specified relation to each other.
• Fasten parts with bolts, screws, or cement.
• Cut products to required measurements.
• Tend machines on the assembly line.
• Work at various stations as needed.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas.
