Job summary

VWI is seeking an Interior Designer (TAMC IOT&A) to develop FF&E packages and coordinate with CEHNC Interior Designer and DHA-FE/TAMC reps, ensuring MEDCOM, UFC, TJC, evidence-based-design, and healthcare-environment standards. You will prepare illustrations, review quotations, and manage procurement through installation, deficiency resolution, final acceptance, and as-built closeout.

Requires a Bachelor's in interior design, 5 years medical project experience, 2 years DoD-related work, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in interior design or related field is required.
• 5 years designing/reviewing relevant medical projects.
• 2 years on relevant Federal, DoD, and/or Army projects.
• Current NCIDQ certification.
• No formal affiliation with a furniture dealership, vendor, or manufacturer.

Responsibilities

• Develops the complete FF&E Package for Area 3H.
• Vets the existing Area 6F package with the customer.
• Coordinates furniture, fabrics, finishes, textures, artwork, signage, and wayfinding with CEHNC Interior Designer and DHA-FE/TAMC reps.
• Prepares illustration sheets and procurement documentation, supports field verification, reviews vendor quotations and substitutions, provides technical recommendations, and remains engaged through procurement, installation, deficiency resolution, final acceptance, and as-built closeout.
