Job summary

Creative Design is an award-winning model home interior design firm seeking an interior designer with 3-5 years of experience to lead model home projects from concept to installation. Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, prior design firm experience, and strong proficiency in AutoCAD and PowerPoint.

Must be highly organized, capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment, and located in the Dallas–Fort Worth area.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Creative Design is an award-winning model home interior design firm, with the talent and experience to create designs that sell. We work with some of the nation’s top home builders to create exciting interiors. We are looking for an interior designer with 3-5 years experience. This individual will be the project lead for various model home projects. From start to finish, concept to completion/installation of furnishings. Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design. Prior design firm experience required. To be considered, one must have a strong proficiency in AutoCAD and PowerPoint. Additionally, candidates must have professional written and verbal communication skills, be highly organized and detail oriented, and have the ability to multitask within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Source furnishings, textiles, art and accessories
• Manage project drawings and specifications.
• Correspond with builders and/or contractors for project details and progress.
• Attend client meetings as needed both in office and off site
• Create and manage budgets and schedules
• Provide team support in various other responsibilities working collaboratively with individuals both in the immediate team and other departments.
• Prepare client presentations, present ideas to clients, mange all aspects of the design process
