Job summary

Creative Design in Dallas/Fort Worth seeks an experienced interior designer (3-5 years) to lead model home projects from concept to installation. A bachelor’s degree in Interior Design is required, with strong AutoCAD and PowerPoint skills and excellent communication and organizational abilities.

Candidates must be local to the Dallas Fort Worth area and prepared to travel up to 25% to client sites and showrooms as needed.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years interior design experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication; highly organized and detail oriented; ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Source furnishings, textiles, art and accessories.
• Manage project drawings and specifications.
• Correspond with builders and/or contractors for project details and progress.
• Attend client meetings as needed both in office and off site.
• Create and manage budgets and schedules.
• Provide team support in various other responsibilities working collaboratively with individuals both in the immediate team and other departments.
• Prepare client presentations, present ideas to clients, manage all aspects of the design process.
• 25% travel.

We are looking for an interior designer with 3-5 years experience. This individual will be the project lead for various model home projects. From start to finish, concept to completion/installation of furnishings. Candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in Interior Design. Prior design firm experience required. To be considered, one must have a strong proficiency in AutoCAD and PowerPoint. Additionally, candidates must have professional written and verbal communication skills, be highly organized and detail oriented, and have the ability to multitask within a fast-paced environment.
