Job summary

Homebound is seeking an experienced Interior Designer to join our Design Studio, focusing on Dallas–Fort Worth and Houston markets. You will develop design packages across infill and suburban communities and collaborate with the Director of Design + Operations to align budgets with market and style objectives.

You will also work directly with homeowners on personalization and upgrades, including on-site meetings with the Construction team, while coordinating with Architecture, Sales,

Qualifications

• 4-6+ years of interior design experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture.
• Experience in homebuilder design studios or design firms and leading client meetings.
• Experience selecting interior finishes for architectural drawings with materials knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop curated design packages and options of varying spec levels and price points.
• Work with Sales and Procurement to ensure designs meet budget and style objectives.
• Deliver professional design presentations to clients, virtually and in person.
• Partner with Tech to load products and create offerings in the software platform.
• Use Bluebeam to communicate design intent and redline drawings.
• Maintain organized project files and assist in managing the Homebound Material Catalog.
• Create design package sample boards and professional display for client meetings.
• Travel for market research in new developments or site visits.
• Meet metrics for Design Studio results and align with performance goals.
