Job summary

CCY Architects in Basalt, Colorado seeks an Interior Designer with 4-6 years of experience to join a collaborative studio. The role focuses on concept development, detailing, and construction documentation for residences, hospitality, and community projects.

Candidates must coordinate with teams, manage FF&E, and present design ideas while working on-site most days with occasional WFH one day per week. Salary ranges from $80K–$95K with full benefits including health, dental, vision, retirement,

Qualifications

• CIDA-accredited degree in Interior Design and/or professional degree in Architecture
• 4-6 years of applied professional work experience at an architecture or interior design firm
• Proven experience in interior detailing and construction documentation

Responsibilities

• Develop interior design concepts, space planning, and design studies with project teams
• Lead finish material palettes, sample boards, and presentation materials
• Produce interior construction documents (plans/elevations/sections) and finish schedules
• Assist in FF&E selections, specifications, budgets, and procurement docs
• Create renderings, visualizations, and graphics to communicate design intent
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, lighting designers, fabricators, vendors and contractors
• Conduct site visits and review interiors submittals and RFIs to ensure design intent
• Research materials for durability, maintenance, costs, and health
