Hoefer Welker has an opening for a licensed Interior Designer II with an exceptionally creative design portfolio. The role collaborates in all phases of project design, focusing on conceptual design, programming, space planning, documentation and material, finishes, furniture and artwork selection.

The candidate will generate all architectural concepts for interior projects, lead client meetings, manage multiple projects, and maintain strong client relations while aligning schedules and budgets.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or Interior Design; AIA/NCIDQ certification preferred.
  • 6+ years of corporate interiors project experience.
  • Proficiency in Revit software required; Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop), Google SketchUp and 3D rendering are desired.

Responsibilities

  • Overall knowledge of construction documentation and process.
  • Interpersonal and client relation skills and the ability to handle multiple projects.
  • Assist in the production and development of design proposals.
  • Overall knowledge of furniture specifications and budgets.
  • Lead client meetings regarding interior design issues and maintain client contact.
  • Flexibility and agility to work on projects in a variety of locations.
  • Proficiency in Revit and experience in Revit rendering.

Hoefer Welkerhas an opening for a licensed Interior Designer II with an exceptionally creative design portfolio and will collaborate in all phases of project design with a focus on conceptual design, programming, space planning, documentation and selection of materials, finishes, furniture and artwork. As an Interior Designer, this person will generate all architectural concepts for interior projects, including full responsibility for interpreting, organizing, executing and coordinating interior design assignments. This person plans and designs interior aspects of large or multiple projects by developing appropriate concepts and approaches. They also provide subject matter expertise on specific components of Interior Design while maintaining cooperative working relationships, internally and externally, and possessing an entrepreneurial spirit and a forward thinking attitude.

Job Requirements

Education/Experience: A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in the field of Architecture or Interior Design with AIA or NCIDQ certification or architectural registration preferred. 6+ years of relevant corporate interiors project experience required.A creative design portfolio is required.

Qualifications: The proper candidate will have excellent verbal and written communications skills, teamwork, presentation and organizational skills. Proficiency in Revit software required. Adobe Suite (InDesign, Photoshop), Google Sketchup and 3D rendering are desired.
