Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking an Interior Designer to support a leading organization in the greater Philadelphia area. The role involves contributing to interior design across all project phases, collaborating with project teams to develop design solutions, and supporting delivery of interior spaces.

Responsibilities include leading design projects, programming and space planning, producing construction documents, coordinating FF&E selections, and presenting to clients.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional interior design experience.
• Professional degree in Interior Design.
• Proficiency in Revit and the Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong graphic presentation and visualization skills.
• Working knowledge of building codes and interior construction detailing.
• Experience with space planning, FF&E specifications, and construction documentation.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time independently.
• Strong collaboration and coordination skills across multiple disciplines.
• Healthcare design experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to interior design projects through all phases of design and construction.
• Develop creative design solutions and participate in design charrettes with project teams.
• Perform programming and space planning for projects of all sizes.
• Develop conceptual designs, drawings, and interior construction details.
• Prepare FF&E specifications and interior finishes selections.
• Coordinate client and project presentations.
• Develop construction drawings using Revit.
• Coordinate interior designs with architects, engineers, and contractors.
• Ensure designs comply with building codes and project requirements.
• Communicate design concepts and project updates to teams and clients.
