Bespoke Careers is seeking a technically strong Project Interior Designer for its growing healthcare practice in the United States. The role combines architecture, interiors, engineering, construction, development, and real estate under one roof to support designers through the full project lifecycle.

  • Manage interior design responsibilities across all project phases from programming to construction administration.

A highly regarded, employee-owned firm is seeking a technically strong Project Interior Designer to join its growing healthcare practice.

The firm’s integrated model brings architecture, interiors, engineering, construction, development, and real estate together under one roof. This allows designers to remain involved throughout the full project lifecycle and collaborate directly with multidisciplinary professionals.

This position is ideal for a client-facing designer who can take ownership of projects and work independently through all phases while still having access to the guidance, resources, and support of an experienced team. Project teams typically include between two and eight people, depending on the size and complexity of the work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage interior design responsibilities across all project phases, from programming and concept design through construction administration
  • Develop technically accurate drawings, documentation, specifications, and project deliverables
  • Create space plans, finish palettes, material selections, presentations, and design solutions for healthcare environments
  • Serve as a client-facing member of the project team and communicate design ideas, progress, and technical information clearly
  • Coordinate closely with architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal teams
  • Manage furniture, fixtures, equipment, materials, and finish selections
  • Review submittals, respond to project questions, and support construction administration
  • Balance design quality with technical requirements, budgets, schedules, and client expectations
  • Work independently while collaborating with project teams of approximately two to eight people
  • Contribute to a supportive studio culture focused on design excellence and professional growth
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture, or a related field
  • At least 5+ years of professional interior design experience
  • Strong technical interior design and documentation skills
  • Experience contributing to or managing projects through all phases
  • Proficiency in Revit and other relevant design software
  • Understanding of accessibility standards, building codes, and healthcare design requirements
  • Strong client-facing communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage responsibilities independently while knowing when to engage the wider project team
  • NCIDQ certification is a plus but is not required
  • Portfolio demonstrating relevant professional and technical interior design work
