Burns & McDonnell in Columbus, OH is seeking an experienced Interior Designer to create, design and implement interior concepts and space planning strategies across government, healthcare, data centers and other commercial facilities.

Responsibilities include design development, construction administration, and coordination with clients and project teams. Requires Bachelor and Master degrees, NCIDQ certification, and strong BIM/Adobe/3D rendering skills. Driver's license required.

Formación

• Bachelor Degree in interior design, interior architecture, or similar field required.
• Master Degree in interior design, interior architecture, or similar field required.
• NCIDQ Certification required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare designs, quantity calculations, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings for interior scope.
• Gather data, develop initial design concepts and plans, and assist with presentations and renderings.
• Oversee furniture selection, layout, purchasing, and installation through construction administration.
• Research interior design products, finishes, and materials and make recommendations.
• Develop colors, finishes, and materials; explore new concepts and methods.
• Lead construction administration activities including site visits and RFIs.
• Ensure conformance with building standards and applicable codes.
• Maintain in-office material library and coordinate product lunch-and-learns.
• Coordinate with clients and project team to present designs and iterate per feedback.
• Collaborate with project architect and other trades; perform other duties as assigned.
