Responsibilities

• Assist in all phases of the design process across various projects
• Generate creative design solutions within project parameters
• Communicate effectively with clients and project teams
• Use software proficiently to create graphics and presentation materials
• Support integration of design with other workflows
• Collaborate as a concept champion and coordinate documents
• Apply knowledge of construction methods and timelines
• Contribute to material, fixture, and equipment selection
• Contribute to production of construction documents
• Assist with contract administration and conduct site visits

Qualifications

• Degree from a CIDA-accredited Interior Design program or equivalent
• 2+ years experience in commercial design, with a preference for Education projects
• State registration or steps toward registration
• Strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual design, space planning, and detailing skills
• Proficiency in Revit and technical excellence
• Interest in sustainable design
• Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills
• Attention to detail and a flexible attitude
• Ability to collaborate in diverse teams
