Job summary

LDa Architecture & Interiors is seeking an Interior Designer to join our collaborative team in Boston. The role involves working with Principals on a range of projects, including space planning, interior architecture, and FF&E, with travel to project sites as needed.

We value strong design skills, project management, and mentorship of junior staff. Proficiency in Revit and Studio Designer is required, as well as experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of interior design experience.
• Experience collaborating with architects and builders.
• Knowledge of building codes and ADA requirements.
• Residential design experience required.
• Multi-family, commercial and/or institutional design preferred.
• Degree in interior design or related field.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Principals and design teams as Interior Designer for various projects.
• Handle space planning, interior architecture, interior design, construction drawings, FF&E, and décor/styling.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors; track budgets; oversee ordering and scheduling; coordinate installations.
• Mentor junior staff and act as a design leader within the firm.
• Present to current and prospective clients and support marketing efforts.
