Job summary

Interliance Consulting (NV), Inc is seeking an experienced Interior Designer for the Scottsdale, AZ office with in-office work and site visits. You will lead projects from concept through completion, developing design intent, and presenting to clients while ensuring profitability and timely delivery.

You will develop plans, elevations, and renderings, use AutoCAD for working drawings, and coordinate with vendors, clients, and the operations team to create a exceptional client experience.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited interior design program.
• 5+ years of interior design experience in commercial/hospitality design.
• Advanced working knowledge in AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Experienced in leading client presentations, both in person and via Zoom.
• Advanced aesthetic and technical design capabilities with attention to detail.
• Strong organizational skills and deadline-driven.

Responsibilities

• Work independently with guidance from Principal Designer to develop design intent and material selections.
• Prepare and produce high-level design presentations.
• Develop plans, elevations, and renderings illustrating design intent and materials.
• Create proposals that maximize client budget and timeline while ensuring profitability.
• Use AutoCAD to create detailed working drawings of floor plans, elevations, and space planning.
• Lead client installations and coordinate with operations for planning and logistics.
• Monitor progress and attend job site reviews during construction.
• Lead meetings and presentations with client and industry partners.
• Maintain vendor relationships, request quotes and estimates, ensuring quality.
• Develop and manage client, builder, and architect relationships to foster trust and referrals.
• Take initiative, solve problems, collaborate, and communicate to ensure project success.

Responsibilities

• Lead client installations and work closely with our operations team on the advanced planning and logistics leading up to the installation to create a "wow" experience for clients.
• Monitor progress and attend job site reviews during construction.
• Lead meetings and presentations with client and industry partners.
• Maintain vendor relationships, request quotes and estimates, and ensure quality standards.
• Develop and manage client, builder, and architect relationships that foster trust and referrals.
• Take initiative, solve problems, collaborate, and proactively communicate with clients, the design team, and the operations team to ensure every project is a success.

4-5 weeks per year travel required.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited interior design program
• 5+ years of interior design experience in commercial/hospitality design, residential experience a plus
• Advanced working knowledge in AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, and Microsoft Office
• Strong written communication skills
• Experienced in leading client presentations, both in person and via Zoom
• Advanced aesthetic and technical design capabilities with fierce attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills, high follow-through, and deadline-driven
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
