Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in architectural design.

• Strong communication skills and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design Leadership: Lead the conceptual and schematic design phases for various projects, ensuring creativity and functionality in design solutions
• Project Management: Oversee project development from inception to completion, coordinating with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure design intent is achieved
• Technical Expertise: Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and construction documents in compliance with local codes and regulations
• Team Collaboration: Mentor junior designers and interns, fostering a collaborative environment and providing guidance on design practices and project management
• Client Interaction: Engage with clients to understand their needs, present design proposals, and incorporate feedback into project development
• Sustainability Focus: Advocate for sustainable design practices and integrate innovative solutions to enhance energy efficiency and reduce environmental impact
• Quality Control: Conduct thorough reviews of design documents for accuracy and quality, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in architectural design, with a strong portfolio that showcases innovative and sustainable design solutions. Project types are diverse and include concepts and research across Commercial, Higher Education, Historic Preservation, and Public and Civic sectors.
