Job summary

WRNS Studio in Honolulu is seeking an experienced Interior Designer to lead design development and documentation for high-performance interiors. You will craft space plans, FF&E concepts, and visual stories using Revit and rendering tools while collaborating across the design team and with consultants.

The role emphasizes strong space planning, documentation across project phases, budgeting support, and mentoring junior designers. On-site collaboration is essential to WRNS Studio’s process.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in Interior Design or Architecture.
  • Professional degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
  • Experience in medium to large-scale projects.
  • Preferred candidate will have a strong background in workplace interiors and planning.
  • Expertise in Revit and proficiency in 3D rendering tools such as Enscape, Lumion, or Rhino.
  • Strong space planning skills and knowledge of systems, furniture, interior finishes and workplace standards.
  • Demonstrated progressive responsibility in all phases of interior architecture projects.
  • Leads with curiosity and is a creative problem solver with excellent communication, collaboration, planning and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with sustainable design frameworks, such as LEED, WELL, and Fitwel.
  • Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, AutoCAD, and Bluebeam proficiency preferred.

  • Support project budgeting, value engineering, sustainability goals, and material selection.
  • Provide mentorship and direction to junior interior designers and staff, where applicable.
